The Garage is an arts organization rooted in contemporary ballet/modern dance and media arts. Founded in 2006, it is directed by Ryan Orion Beck and Kevin Jenkins, New York and San Diego based choreographers. Our efforts are to bring innovative and progressive dance and media to the San Diego community by combining classic arts aesthetics with pop culture and global subculture movements. At The Garage the possibilities are without end and the collaborations are of the highest caliber. Projects include live performance, site-specific works, film media events, choreographic workshops, and photographic exhibitions.
The Garage is a constituent of the Community Arts Advisory Council. |
